It’s that time of the year again….Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and many of you are still probably trying to figure out the best gifts to get for your mums (obviously), wives, and mother-in-laws. Let me give you some sound advice from experience – if you’re thinking of flowers and chocolates – don’t. You’d only be begging for a slap. It’s time to get original.

At least you’d hope they do.

You may love her, you may hate her, you may want to give her the best gift ever, or possibly throw darts at her…but dammit man/woman, if there’s one thing that’ll score you huge brownie points with the missus/mister, it’s remembering to get a gift for THEIR mom too.

So the best move here is to be thoughtful, but practical. You wanna shoot for a gift that’s functional, not classic hum-drum, and most of all useful. What could be something that’s useful? Well think about it….

For the most part, parents get old. And I mean like…..OLD (too much?). Which is why you should help them in every way possible to make their day to day lives easier – they did it for you kids – time to return the favor, wouldn’t you say?

One big factor of getting older can be misplacing things.

Car keys.

Phone.

Glasses (my mum’s fucking famous for this – like a modern day Velma from Scooby Doo).

Children.

…joke on that last one.
