Musings Episode 57: Read The Air…

Not sure if anyone’s heard this expression, slightly similar to “read between the lines.” I touched briefly on it several episodic musings ago, a little something I picked up in Asia. Thought I’d elaborate once more on it here. Enjoy.

Musings Episode 57: Read The Air…

Musings Episode 57 Read The Air, Rego's Life Musings Episode 57 Read The Air, Musings Episode 57 Read The Air Rego's Life, Rego's Life, Japanese culture, read the air, how to read the air, read between the lines, culture, thought, episodic musings, Japan

There’s certain points in conversation where an exchange happens, and either both or one of the parties wanna say something but refrain slightly from doing so – and instead just sort of “dance” around the subject.

Personally, I prefer to talk straight (note, this does not mean “talking without thinking first”), but sometimes this type of thinking isn’t always appropriate for every single situation. This is where learning to appreciate reading the air comes in handy. Don’t get me wrong – reading the air has some serious negatives, too – but at times and in certain situations, it can be highly beneficial (business is not one of them though).

I remember my days back in uni studying International Business and Asia Pacific Studies – this was shortly after returning from Japan – they were discussing just what “reading the air” meant.

Simply put, it’s like saying something without actually saying it, but the implication’s there with as few words as possible. It’s about reading the atmosphere, and knowing what (or what not) to say next. It’s just something you’ve gotta pick up on. It’s pretty helpful because it can spare embarrassment.

So why the heck am I writing about this on a Musings Episode? It’s just one of those thoughts I had to get on paper…or computer screen, guess you could say.

It’s something that would benefit the Western culture greatly if they learned how to use it, as it teaches a person how to be tactful and not sound so presumptuous…or assinine, for that matter.

I’d say the trait is more in Americans, BUT, coming from an English background as well there’s been more than a fair share of people I’ve wanted to say “sod off” too as well.

Reading the air can tie into not letting your brother turn “red in the face.” It’s a really core part of Japanese culture and something that you never fully master – some may call it “passive.” Yeah, it’s got some tendencies of “don’t rock the boat,” but really it can boil down to sparing someone’s feelings as well (hence the “red in the face” expression).

Although Chinese culture is on a whole different level (right down to the way they ask you to open a window) when it comes to indirect communication, the same way kids in primary school out here are being taught Mandarin, because this is turning into a global economy and has been one for a while now, it’d be really beneficial if the generation of today were taught key cultural “quirks” like these.

It’s not asking much either, really. The same way Western culture has its sarcasm, highly innuendo-ish humor, and cliches, picking up how to understand what someone’s saying without a plethora of words could balance the entirety of a lot of people’s social skills to say the least.

Tomorrow I’ll be elaborating on a few quick tips on exactly how to start reading the air.

Just a little Sunday food for thought. Wanna share your opinion? Comment below.

Hope everyone’s having a great morning. 😉

Musings Episode 54: Persistence…

Yeah, I know….this one’s up super late. This weekend was a little crazy, but I’d rather have delayed this post than offered up something inferior – after all, quality is key, not quantity.

So anyway, just thought it’d be a great idea to continue in the train of thought on some key factors that speed people along to their success – one of the biggest things being persistence.

Musings Episode 54: Persistence…

episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Persistence, Rego's Life Episode 54 Persistence, Regos Life, regoslife, Napoleon Hill, Think & Grow Rich, Rego, Thought, Philosophy, As Long As We Are Persistence In Our Pursuit Of Our Deepest Destiny We Will Continue To Grow. We Cannot Choose The Day Or Time When We Will Fully Bloom It Happens In Its Own Time Denis Waitley, denis waitley, persistence quotes, quotes

One of the biggest things that lead to failure in pursuit of anything is lack of persistence…and to be quite frank, it can be avoided so easily. It’s just a matter of changing perspective and really recognizing within yourself how much you want to accomplish your goal.

There’s a great quote by Earl Nightingale…

Don't let the fear of time it will take to accomplish something earl nightingale rego's life quotes, earl nightingale quotes, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Persistence, Rego's Life Episode 54 Persistence, Regos Life, regoslife, Napoleon Hill, Think & Grow Rich, Rego, Thought, Philosophy , persistence quotes, quotes

The starting point, and basis of persistence boils down to willpower. When you combine will power with desire, there’s no stopping you. The key to always remember is whatever you pursue, make sure it benefits all who partake. I’ve said this before but it deserves reiterating – no – absolutely no wealth can long endure unless built from truth and justice.

Persistence has to be both conscious and subconscious – you’ve gotta remember, this is YOUR dream or goal. Whether it’s learning to be the best goal keeper in soccer, or turning that little part time sandwich shop business you’ve been building after your regular day job into a full time restaurant, the responsibility of your future and the goals you have planned for it boil down to YOUR will power, YOUR desire, YOUR faith, and YOUR PERSISTENCE.

It’s really all on you. You can have encouragement from others – but at the end of the day, it’s you who has to persist with those little habits you have to turn consistent. Doing one little thing a day towards your goal makes a bigger difference than just sitting there doing nothing, day in, day out, or worse – theorizing.

The same way so many people have dedication or feel an obligation to get up and go to their job every day, the same way people make sure to eat lunch/dinner on time, is the same way you should be persistent and dedicated to pursuing whatever goal you have, business, personal, or romantic related.

AMBITION IS THE PATH TO SUCCESS PERSISTENCE IS THE VEHICLE YOU ARRIVE IN WILLIAM EARDLEY IV, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Persistence, Rego's Life Episode 54 Persistence, Regos Life, regoslife, Napoleon Hill, Think & Grow Rich, Rego, Thought, Philosophy , persistence quotes, quotes

It’s all about repetitive effort.

I remember getting into web design and learning about both the hardware and software side of computers when I was a teen. There was a Goodwill that sold old computers for cheap, and had them by the dozen. A lot of times the mouse and keyboard they’d throw in for free.

Through desire and persistence, backed by will power, I learned a lot more about computers than people twice my age did. No, I didn’t have state of the art equipment, but the quality of equipment wasn’t the education…because even with all the “high quality” equipment, everything starts somewhere with basics.

If you learn the basic concept of things, that’s how you grow to understand how many other things work. A strong foundation is key. This is why persistence is so important.

You’ve gotta be persistent in reaching your goal, even if it means it may take a bit of time and education first.

You’ve gotta be persistent in getting better at something you’ve been working on, even if you’ve not been able to break past the “plateau” you find yourself to have reached.

You’ve gotta be persistent in attaining the lifestyle you want, even if it means holding your current job and working on your business after or before work.

PERSISTENCE IS TO THE CHARACTER OF MAN AS CARBON IS TO STEEL NAPOLEON HILL Rego's Life Quotes, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Persistence, Rego's Life Episode 54 Persistence, Regos Life, regoslife, Napoleon Hill, Think & Grow Rich, Rego, Thought, Philosophy , persistence quotes, quotes

The easiest way to gain persistence all starts with taking little, tiny steps, everyday. Those little steps turn into larger strides, then light jogging…running….then sprinting.

Eventually the “great feat” called persistence comes just as natural to you as brushing your teeth or eating lunch. It becomes habit. A part of your life…and it feels weird if skip it or ignore it – the same way skipping a shower before going to bed feels.

So no matter where you’re at in accomplishing your goal, as long as you’ve started somewhere and are on a consistent basis working towards it, you’ve already mastered some if not all of the entire concept of persistence.

…and if you haven’t started, what the hell are you waiting for? Do it now.

Remember – persistence is a state of mind. There are 8 factors that are integral parts of persistence…all of which I’ll share with you in the next “Make it Mondays” post. So stay sharp, look out for both it and the next Business Tools Tuesdays post, and of course…

As always…

Stay awesome.

Musings Episode 53: Faith – It’s Not Religious.

This weekend’s been a blur…but it was still awesome, filled with a lot of, well, fulfilling conversation. Mostly concerning politics, religion, finance, and more. Boring stuff to some – but important and integral to understanding life.

So as you know last week you all found out I was re-reading Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. Well my friends and I on Friday night just so happened to get into a heavy conversation on religion, atheism and spirituality.

I’ll be honest – I’ve never been the religious type. The church going type. I’ve never been an atheist, either. Agnostic? For a stint. Spiritual? Probably been spiritual out of all of those three.

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience we are spiritual beings having a human experience pierre teilhard de chardin spiritual quotes rego's life, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

There was a time in Asia when I learned many things, it was a time that gave me literally months to meditate. Call it a sabbatical if you will…but probably the biggest thing about it was coming to understand myself, more than anything else.

See once you understand yourself, everything else kind of falls into place. Fear fades, because you know how to test your limits. You learn patterns. Habits. Thoughts. It all starts internally. Begin to know yourself internally and you’ll understand why you do things externally.

You have to grow from the inside out none can teach you none can make you spiritual there is no other teacher but your own soul swami vivekananda spiritual quotes rego's life quotes, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

Anyway, back to Friday – a few friends and I got into this BIG discussion on the differences in atheism, religion, and spirituality. It’s pretty awesome when you have a group of friends where some are atheist, some are spiritual, and some are religious. I’ve had friends that are stout Muslim to total atheist – yet we still can comfortably get along and agree to disagree about our beliefs.

An interesting conclusion and mutual agreement within all the conversation that was exchanged though was one specific topic: Faith. Somehow, through some way shape or form, everyone could understand the topic of faith, even if they didn’t understand it completely.

Faith is a knowledge within the heart beyond the reach of proof khalil gibran faith quotes rego's life, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

Which really goes to show that faith isn’t religious – but a state of mind.

It’s not rooted strictly in religion – as religion has its downfalls, as does atheism.

…but what does faith have?

Power.

Insurmountable power.

Once a person comes to know it and harness it that is.

According to Napoleon Hill, faith is simply a state of mind which may be induced or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of “auto-suggestion.”

Faith is a state of mind – yet also an emotion.

Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe voltaire fatih quotes rego's life quotes, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

A lot of religions say “have faith,” yet rarely explain what faith is, let alone how to obtain it.

A lot of atheist say “have courage,” yet rarely state that courage is tied in with faith.

A lot of spiritual people say “believe before you see,” without really realizing they’re just saying “be courageous and have faith.”

Faith really isn’t something that can be taught from a book. It’s something you have to develop within yourself. The only way so far to train yourself to have faith is through tapping into your subconscious.

How do you tap into your subconscious? Through repetition of affirmations or “stories/orders” you tell yourself.

Desire backed by faith knows no such word as impossible napoleon hill faith quotes rego's life quotes, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

The easiest way to describe this is to think on the man who commits a crime for the first time. When a man first comes into contact with crime, at first, he’s nervous, shaky, and abhors it. If he remains in contact with crime, he slowly becomes accustomed to it and endures. If he remains in contact with it long enough, he slowly embraces it and becomes influenced by it.

Another good example would be someone who goes to war. The act of being in active war is at first frightening, no matter how glorified they think it may be. The adrenaline kicks in, a person can get nervous, resistant of killing their fellow-man. Eventually, the longer they do it, they overcome fear and gain more courage – they gain more confidence. Then eventually, they can think clearly even in the heat of battle…eventually that courage, converts to confidence, converts to faith – that with the right planning, they can win the battle – win the war.

A man of courage is also full of faith marcus tullius cicero faith quotes rego's life quotes, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

It can also be easier to have faith when you have a plan.

Faith is something that has to be developed at its own speed – and you don’t need a church or religion to do that.

Faith is something that’s a personal thing, an emotion you yourself have to become comfortable with – faith is something your conscious mind has to work with your subconscious mind on becoming comfortable with.

All thoughts that have been emotionalized (given feeling) and mixed with faith, begin immediately to translate themselves into their physical equivalent/counterpart.

So really, if you think about it, a man could tell himself a lie day in day out, and eventually believe it. Once he has belief in the lie, he has confidence – once he has confidence, he has faith – and once he has faith, that lie suddenly becomes FACT in his mind, regardless of “truth.”

Faith is a state of mind. An emotion. An emotion, that must have self-confidence to truly flourish.

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy Norman vincent peale rego's life, Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life Musings Episode 53 Faith it's Not Religious, Rego's Life, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, regoslife, have faith, i don't have enough faith to be an atheist, gotta have faith, having faith, have faith in yourself, faith meaning, what does faith mean, meaning of faith, what is the meaning of faith, the meaning of faith

How do you gain self-confidence?

Look out for the explanation and how-to in this week’s “Make it Mondays” post over at the official site, regoslife.eu

Hope everyone had an epic weekend.

Musings Episode 52: Desire.

Today has been a truly special day. I went out for the day to celebrate this blog, and my company Rego’s Life. Because as of today, this 52nd post, is an anniversary post – an anniversary marking one year to date, that I’ve been writing the Musings on RegosLife.com.

This whole week, is an anniversary week, really – for Quote Wednesdays, and For The Weekenders…but today is the most special day. Because 52 episodes ago is where it all started. Where I decided to gain the courage, and enthusiasm to write and express my thoughts not just to friends, or at small gatherings, not just during writing classes or publicly speaking – but with the entire world.

52nd post anniversary, rego's life, episodic musings, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Musings Episode 52 Desire, Rego's Life Musings Episode 52 Desire, Thought, Napoleon Hill, Rego, History, one year anniversary rego's life, think and grow rich the original classic napoleon hill, think and grow rich, desire, Rego's Life

I’m proud to say I’ve consistently written a musing every week, without fail – and humble enough to say that all the inspiration, all the ideas, all the wording and expressions, were a gift from what I call Infinite Intelligence; Ruler of The Universe, Master of All Masters. A gift I chose to take heed to, and grab from the ether…but that’s not the only one I’d like to thank today.

I also have to wholeheartedly, 100%, genuinely, thank my readers and followers who have been with me all this time. You ladies and gents, from every stretch of the world, are what further inspire me every day to continue to take all the ideas, expressions, and thoughts given to me by Infinite Intelligence, and share them; unyielding and consistently. So thank you – and may I continue to write and deliver quality content for all of you to enjoy.

You’re all awesome, and I sincerely appreciate you.

This may sound a bit narcissistic, but what the hell….

Happy One Year RegosLife.com Anniversary to Me.

archer woo, rego's life, episodic musings, how to improve your life, musings episode 50 desire, how to achieve success
Well then, shall we? Let’s begin.

I wanted to talk specifically on something that was lightly touched on a couple of weeks ago, both on here and the official site. That something is desire.

For the better part of Friday morning and the entirety of Saturday, I was what one would call devouring the contents of a book I bought years ago – Think and Grow Rich: The Original Classic, by Napoleon Hill, The Unabridged Version.

The book was originally printed in 1937, but many, if not ALL of the principles taught in it still apply to modern day times. Though they have revised it since then, it’s the ORIGINAL version you want to get, as this is one book you don’t want any alterations of.

It helped me in university, and continues to help me today every time I go to pick it up, and read it again. There’s a chapter in the book Napoleon Hill advises all of his readers to read again once they’ve finished the entire book, and continue to read until they fully understand it in its entirety – Chapter 2: Desire.

52nd post anniversary, rego's life, episodic musings, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Musings Episode 52 Desire, Rego's Life Musings Episode 52 Desire, Thought, Napoleon Hill, Rego, History, one year anniversary rego's life, think and grow rich the original classic napoleon hill, think and grow rich, desire, Rego's Life, desire quotes, desire, quotes on desire, napoleon hill desire, think and grow rich the original classic, desire is the starting point of all achievement not a hope not a wish but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything napoleon hill

Desire is something that’s looked quite oddly upon nowadays. Something frowned upon by some, and encouraged by others. If anyone saw the movie “Mad Money,” there’s a certain scene in it that was both funny, yet makes me cringe.

It’s when the main character who’s a housewife of a guy who lost his job is trying to convince one of her co-workers into “recycling” old money. The co-worker, Nina, makes a clear statement to which Bridget, the housewife, retorts :

Nina Brewster: I don’t want things I can’t have.

Bridget Cardigan: Do you live in America?

Reading Think and Grow Rich again it really puts that last line into perspective. The U.S. was built off of many factors, one of those being desire. Desire was one of the KEY factors, along with decision, definite purpose, faith, fearlessness, organized planning, imagination, persistence, and many other factors that gave the colonists of America freedom from the British.

The same goes for when Lincoln wanted to enforce the Proclamation of Emancipation, and when industrialist America was being built – thanks to capitalism, imagination, proper planning, and specialized knowledge. Without a desire to see change, progress, or any forward thinking movement, many countries would not be built to where they are today, nor have history worth mentioning in books.

Men like Abraham Lincoln, Samuel Adams, Gandhi, and even Napoleon Bonaparte were all fueled by desire and purpose, desire being something they never let die within themselves, through the strength of persistence. No matter how many times they may have encountered failure or met temporary defeat.

there is one quality which one must possess to win and that is definiteness of purpose the knowledge of what one wants and a burning desire to possess it napoleon hill quote, 52nd post anniversary, rego's life, episodic musings, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, Musings Episode 52 Desire, Rego's Life Musings Episode 52 Desire, Thought, Napoleon Hill, Rego, History, one year anniversary rego's life, think and grow rich the original classic napoleon hill, think and grow rich, desire, Rego's Life, desire quotes, desire, quotes on desire, napoleon hill desire, think and grow rich the original classic

Desire can be a tool used to fulfill both good and bad things…but desire is something that every human being must continue to have in order to live the type of lives they want and accomplish the type of goals they have.

It was desire that gave me the strength to persevere in building up Rego’s Life, first starting with this Personal Blog, then the Official Site, and finally Rego’s Life Store.

It was desire to spread positivity, that gave me the determination to turn Rego’s Life Official Site into a place where knowledge and information could be sourced and utilized to the best and most positive ability for all who came across it.

It was the desire for the ability to keep all of that information free to the public, which prompted me to go all in, quit all things automotive and real estate related, assemble a team, and start Rego’s Life Store and it’s main branch RLS Web Creations™, so that I could fully dedicate my time to writing and sharing all the information you see on RegosLife.com, regoslife.eu, and things you don’t see that happen offline as well.

Desire, faith, definite purpose, and many other positive thoughts and things are what have kept me going and ensured success my entire life – and it’s desire, and many more positive thoughts and things that are going to ensure success and keep me going for many more years to come.

Musings Episode 50: Wants vs. Needs…

I want to share something very special with you all today…and it has to do with wants and needs.

Doing some studying over the weekend that mostly revolved around finances and financial prosperity, I’d like to stress something I’ve mentioned in previous episodic musings, but probably never touched on or explained with the angle I’m about to give now.

Read carefully as I really want everyone to understand this – it’ll help significantly in clearing up some “fuzzy” logic that’s got most people thinking about money all wrong. Let’s get started…

Wants vs. Needs…

wants and needs are equally important rego's life, musings episode 50 needs vs. wants, rego's life, regos life, regos life, rego's life musings episode 50 needs vs wants, episodic musings, episodic musings of a quintessential entrepreneur, the difference between needs and wants, need vs want, wants vs needs, want vs need, needs vs want, need vs want quotes, want vs need quotes

First off – in a nutshell, if someone asked you to draw the defining line between wants and needs, how would you start? What would you define as wants? Needs? It’s here many people are taught that wants and needs are complete, separate things – and here where some wires get crossed.

So when you think wants, you may think: boat, car, fancy house, new clothing, etc…

and when you think needs you may think: food, water, money, place to stay, job, clothes, etc…

A few of the examples above run parallel to each other (clothing, accommodation) – but often are split into two different categories.

Usually, the logic goes like this:

Having a place to stay is normal – needed.

…but desiring a nicer place to stay is a want – not needed.

Having clothing to walk around in is a need, most definitely.

…but looking at new clothing and desiring to buy them is a want. Not needed.

Let’s clarify one thing: No matter what, shelter (no matter how nice), clothing (no matter how new), and cars (no matter how recent), are all NEEDS. You cannot classify them as wants.

Saying they’re a want is like saying they’re OPTIONAL.

Another thing – wants and desires are different. This’ll be explained in tomorrow’s Make it Mondays post over at Rego’s Life official site.

Back to what we were talking about though…

There are four essential needs we as humans have in life – basic/physical, everyday, lifetime, and spiritual.

Food is a need – it doesn’t matter if you eat it at a restaurant, or at home. If the body is hungry, it NEEDS to eat.

Shelter is a need – it doesn’t matter if it’s a penthouse or a trailer. Humans are not animals; a roof over your head is not a luxury.

Clothing is a need – it doesn’t matter if it’s 100% silk or 100% polyester, to preserve your dignity and to keep warm, the clothes on your back are essential.

Transportation is a need – rant all you want about global warming, CO2 emissions, etc, etc…whether you use public transport or you have your own vehicle, getting to and from a destination to get something accomplished is a NEED.

Lastly and most importantly…taking the time out to do what makes you happy, is a NEED. It doesn’t matter if it’s reading a comic strip or travelling the world; doing a job you love or quitting your job to start a business; hanging out with friends or engaging in a sport; working out or writing poetry…

…whatever makes you happy, doing it is a NEED…not a want. It’s the most important need – a spiritual need. This is the most important thing so you can feel at peace with yourself, happy with yourself, FIRST – before anyone else.

Wants? Wants are simple. Leisure spending is a want – spending is a want in general…and it’s completely separate from putting money towards your needs.

Seeing something you like on display, jewelry, a new wallet, a new purse, that new watch you’ve been figuratively dying to get – those are wants.

Checking out that new lounge bar, going to see that new movie, playing pool with friends – all wants.

Now the defining moment – the most important thing you need to know – something religion discourages, society says is hedonistic, and your grandma may say isn’t true:

Wanting is not a bad thing.

Needing is not just what you’ve been taught it is.

…and money? No matter how your try and analyze it, is absolutely CRITICAL, and was given the ability to be manifested from pure “imagination” to physical reality, in order to allow you to achieve both needs AND wants.

Like all things, moderation is key – balance is key. You have to make sure to balance all aspects of your life to live a fulfilling one.

“I realized that…

Musings: Quote Wednesdays…

I realized early that success is tied to not giving up, most people in this business gave up and moved on to other things, if you simply didn't give up, you would outlast the people who came in on the bus with you, harrison ford

Just a little mid-week inspiration… 😉
