A little mid-week inspiration. If you’re day after day doing something you believe in, whether it’s a sport, you’re business, a project, a piece of art, photography, or a new invention…believe in it 100% – and when you feel like quitting, remember why you started.
Believing in something partially, or doubting it, will only set you back tremendously. Start believing in yourself, and you can start believing in what you’re doing at any given moment – without fear, without hesitation, and without doubt.

I remember always watching Ashton Kutcher on That 70’s Show – although he’s played more serious parts over the years, the dude’s still as funny now as he was then…but at the same time, he has some pretty deep moments and says some pretty true things.
Steve Jobs (R.I.P.) and him have it right. This is one of those things – a very important, true thing about growing up that many people try and tell you…but you know what – it’s not true – life is a lot “broader” – there’s so much more to it…and it’s not just about living your life, but creating and building one.

Musings: Quote Wednesdays…

If you’re always looking for things to be “guaranteed,” there’s two things you’re already doing that are negative:
- Not believing in yourself and
- Setting yourself up for failure
You have to know, not fear, that nothing is guaranteed – yet on the flip side, understand that things can and will work if you allow them to and just enjoy taking the steps towards those goals. It’s not about making it work – but allowing it too. You don’t have to see the end result you just have to know it’s already there.
Making something work means it hasn’t happened yet.
Allowing something to work means it’s already happened and it’s just waiting for you to step out of the way and stop trying to make it happen.

..and sometimes, one of the hardest decisions is deciding which one to listen to. Charles Dickens had it right.
There are times when you have to toss logic and emotion in the air, and try reaching a middle ground. Sometimes there is no middle ground. No grey area. Learning from mistakes and gaining wisdom all lies in the way things are looked at.
Once you find your own path, the rules and beliefs you apply to your life can become unbreakable, and in turn you’ll seal the way to your own success.

On the road to success, if you’ve got plans for your business ventures, with which you’re running with like mad, and people start bashing it – remember to focus on your plan, your idea, and nothing else. People who are always occupied with what other people have going for themselves are not always the most constructive or positive vibrations to be around.
While they’re minding your business, focus on your yours. Because often, someone who minds your business and tells you how to get a “real job” think of a “real career” and focus on the “real things” in life, more than they do their own – are not looking out for your best interest.
