UPDATE: Thought I pushed the Publish button last night and it seems I didn’t! Sorry about that guys. I chose to post this particular quote because it runs along the same lines of what I’ve been pondering over most of the week…heck most of the time, at any given time. You may have heard me say this before, but these type of things require reiteration.
As long as you keep your eye on the ball, your mind focused on the target, and your thoughts the way you want them to be, everything will fall into place…

In other words, when life hands you unpleasant situations, try and see the opposite end of it…the more you exercise doing this, the more you can pretty much manipulate your thoughts and change your feelings in certain circumstances fairly quickly….but it takes practice….just like building up your alcohol tolerance ;).

This is one of the many rules I live by. If you’re going to invest time in something…someone…or some place…make sure you invest wisely. There is no greater gift than time…use it in the best possible way, at every given moment.

For the entrepreneur (or person in general) who’s hard on themselves….sometimes, I have to remember this one myself. No matter what the setback, no matter how long it takes, no matter how many mistakes you make…as long as the intention is good, never forget to do this. It pays, in more ways than one and helps in the long run. It doesn’t matter how slowly you go, as long as you don’t stop.

I find this pretty much speaks for itself. No matter what it is you go after, no matter how many times you’ve tried, and no matter how long you’ve been pursuing it…if it’s in your very gut that you still desire it and quitting seems “O.K.” but not “right,” and you feel you should keep pushing forward – do it. Eliminate every “what-if” you can fathom.
You never know how deep the water is unless you keep wading into it.

There are times when we think with our heads, times when we think with our gut, and times when we think with our heart. The first deals with rationale, logic, and reasoning. The latter two develop strictly from instinct and feeling. There are times when the latter two, without the logic, without the reasoning, and without the analyzing…can make the most sense and produce the best results.

Pretty relatable, don’t you think? It really hit home with me when I read it.
As humans – the minute we progress – regression is unfathomable, hardly an option. Forward is the direction life was designed for – not up. When people say, “the only way to go is up,” I think “the only way to go is forward.”
Because the thing about going up is…there’s a gravity factor. 😉
